Typical Day Of Our Pre-K Class:

9:30 - 9:40 a.m. Children arrive and put their buckets away. Teachers will set out playdough, colorsheets, blacklines or other activities for students to work on while they wait for other students to arrive.

9:40 - 10:00 a.m. Morning Circle. During morning circle the teacher will pick the student of the day, review calendar basics, current weather conditions, Pledge of Allegiance, singing various preschool songs, and morning prayer.

10:00 - 10:10 a.m. Bathroom break

10:10 - 10:25 a.m. Bible Story from Gospel Light

10:25 - 11:10 a.m. Station Rotation. Students cycle through a variety of stations including language/literacy, math, handwriting basics, puzzles, dramatic play, arts and crafts and other motor skill enhancing tasks.

11:10 - 11:30 a.m. Indoor or outdoor play (Music and movement is held on Friday's) Times will vary depending on how long it takes to rotate through stations.

11:30 - 11:45 a.m. Snack

11:45 -  12:00 p.m. Closing Circle. During closing circle the teacher will sing songs with students, do show and tell, review lessons of the day, and will do closing prayer.

12:00 noon Children depart for the day
